Day 5: Indy Car Racing —
World-famous Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Get a taste of what Mario Andretti has experienced as a race car driver. Following intensive instruction, suit up, get buckled in, and drive a full-sized, Indy-style race car around one of the world’s premier superspeedways.

Feel the rush and g-forces as you put the pedal to the metal during your extended driving sessions, a total of 15 laps. You can increase your speeds every lap, with top speeds reaching up to 165 mph!

The Las Vegas Motor Speedway, located in the northeast portion of the Las Vegas Valley, is a 1,600-acre complex of four different tracks for automobile racing. The speedway, often referred to as the “Blue Oval”, the “House of Roush”, or the “Diamond in the Desert”, is home to several race teams, most notably South Point Racing, owned by Brendan Gaughan.

The Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been deemed the most remarkable race complex in the world. Sports Illustrated called it the Racing Capital of the West.
