Chris Stewart is a best-selling author, world-record-setting pilot, and president of The Shipley Group, a nationally recognized consulting and training company.
Chris served for fourteen years as a pilot in the United States Air Force, where he piloted both the B-1B bomber and rescue helicopters. During his career, Chris was awarded several significant flying decorations, including the Tactical Aircrew of Distinction Award and Air Force Air Medal. On June 3, 1995, Chris led a flight of two B-1s on a nonstop flight around the world, setting three world speed records in the process, and received the MacKay trophy for the "most significant aerial achievement of the year."
Chris is a national best-selling author whose books have been published in six different countries and selected by the Book of the Month Club. He is currently working on his ninth novel. He has appeared on national television and been interviewed on many nationally syndicated radio shows. He has been a guest editorialist for the Detroit Free Press, commenting on matters of national security and military affairs.
